Choosing Between PDA, ITouch Or A Rugged Laptop

By John J. Rockerson

Tired of your laptop not performing to your expectations? With so many new laptops on the market, how do you find a durable laptop that works for you? Today's workplace is full of mobile computing devices but the key is to pick the right one for you.

Selecting a computer or phone that is going to give you the applications you need can be confusing. Prices are continuing to drop on all the latest phones and computers due to the economic situation of today. Now is the time to find yourself a dependable laptop or cell phone that provides you with the coverage and accessories you need to be productive.

I know that many people have decided to go with the new IPhone or ITouch for their cell phone and PDA needs. However, if you are trying to work with these devices like a full on computer, it's just not going to work. While these devices are great for small jobs, tough jobs need tough computers.

Choosing between the PDA, IPhone or just the slim sleek or rugged laptop can be a daunting task. There are so many selections and depending on your profession, it's best to get a device that applicable to your needs while in the field. Don't make the mistake of making a purchase that will not allow you to optimize your time in the field.

Being an outside sales rep has helped me to know which communication device will work best for me. I thought about the netbook but they just don't pack enough punch for me. The slim and light but durable laptop was powerful enough but light and easy to carry around.

We all know how bad it can be sometimes to get an Internet connection. Wireless is available in so many places but for those of us who rely on a strong constant connection, Panasonic has a laptop that meets this need. Don't continue to struggle with interference when you are working from the field.

Researchers have continued to update the wireless connections in laptops. PC cards can receive interference unlike the connection you receive when you wireless is built in to the computer. With the Panasonic, you don't have to worry about getting the strongest signal with their new design.

Panasonic has designed a wireless antenna that is located right next to the LCD screen. This provides a better signal that in turn allows more productivity in the field. If you are relying on the Internet to function in your workday from the field, then I suggest you check this computer out.

If you have looked at the ITouch or IPhone for you mobile computing needs, don't be fooled if it's power you need. We all would like to have compact but there is no punch for in an IPhone to replace the power of a rugged laptop. Everyone's needs are different, don't get caught with something that does not provide you with the power to produce. - 30318
